Everyone knew about Hulu. But no one knew they had live TV for sports.

So Hulu threw a ton of money at some NBA All-Stars and told us to make an influencer campaign that feels “real” and “authentic.”

And then it hit us: why not be honest?

Why not just have our influencers come out and say, “Hulu’s paying me a lot of money to say Hulu Has Live Sports.”

Check out the case study that isn’t incredibly boring below.

Each athlete “sold out” in a way that was authentic to them.

Joel Embiid was known for famously nicknaming himself “The Process.” We changed that to Joel “Hulu Has Live Sports” Embiid.

Damian Lillard is known for having the best ink in the NBA. He got a “Hulu Has Live Sports” tattoo.

And sneakerheads everywhere were waiting Giannis Antetokounmpo’s first signature Nikes. So we had him drop his first signature slippers.

Adidas even created custom Hulu Has Live Sports Dame 5’s

And last but not least, Joel “Hulu Has Live Sports” Embiid wore a branded hoodie to a press conference where he blamed his poor play on 💩

The original idea for Hulu Sellouts came from the big brains of Marcin Markiewicz and Vlad Ivangorodsky.

Neal Desai and I creative directed it and then made just about every single piece of the campaign.

And we couldn’t have done it without the directorial deftness of Dave Laden.
